A report was made to Ilford Council by the Town Clerk as to the possibilty of sport being played on Fairlop Aerodrome site.
He did write to the Air ministry who were raising no objection providing that there were only goalposts and other things which were easily removeable. This was only a verbal report as the Air Ministry were reluctant to confirm this issie in writing.
